We are looking forward to another great year for the youth hunting program. We have campouts, fishing trips, shooting practice and other adventures planned for this coming year.
This program is geared toward young people ages 12-17 that would like to learn how to hunt, shoot, camp and enjoy some outdoor activities. Many of the kids in the program don’t have someone in their family who can teach them these skills. We encourage parents to participate when possible to help bond with their children. The mentors are all great men who take their own time to help with these kids. If you have kids that would benefit from this program we urge you to get them signed up and come and join us.
Costs for the program:
$40 to help offset some of the fuel costs and ammunition costs of the program.
Program Agreement
All kids participating in the program agree to:
- Keep their grades up in school
- Demonstrate safe handling of firearms while hunting
- Be respectful of everyone in the program
- Help out peers in the program
- Be honest in their dealings with others
